...My approach to tutoring is to ask questions and listen first. I want to find out where you're at, what you understand and don't understand, and how you feel about what you're studying. ...I retaught them everything when they got home from school. I did this through high school, worked as a 1:1 for my younger son through eighth grade with additional tutoring after school, and then homeschooled him in high school. Both were able to complete math through Algebra 2 and Geometry and ended up with academic awards. (read more)
