...While there are times to memorize information often there are patterns to look for which give chemical insight and intuitions. In my teaching, I like to stress intuitions and showing students how they can learn on their own. Chemistry can be a particularly challenging topic for some but I find ways of breaking it down into pieces that make sense to the student. (read more)
