I've been tutoring students for the past 40 years, on a part-time basis. I have also coached girls softball for over 20 years and age-group swimming for 15 years. This has given me a lot of experience in working with and motivating students to excel in various life-skills. (read more)

Eventually forced to select a major, James graduated with a B.S. in Chemistry and a minor in Control and Dynamical Systems. James earned his Ph.D. at The University of Texas at Austin in the CSEM (Computational Science, Engineering and Mathematics) program. (read more)

...I studied Spanish at Brigham Young University in Utah and spent time living in Yucatan, Mexico as part of the program. I lived among immigrants as a missionary in California for 18 months and spoke Spanish with people from all over Latin America. I have taught statistics at both the high school and college level.
