...I approach tutoring as a journey, the student and I are taking together, to understand the material and do well. I try to understand how the student thinks, and tailor my explanation of the material so that they can understand it. Also, when solving practice/HW problems, I point out patterns in the problems and categorize them such that the student knows what tools to use to approach it. (read more)
