...In the course of playing weekly for residents of The Lantern, I also taught a young student with a physical disability. She had been born with cerebral palsy. She had limited use of her right hand so we concentrated on playing with her left hand and therapeutically exercised her right hand. (read more)
...Typically math is easier to understand and develop when someone else is there to help you sort ideas and thoughts; a majority of the time a student knows the answer to a particular question, but he/she just needs encouragement. I am very outgoing as well as understanding and I try to tutor without pressuring students. I am very excited for future tutoring sessions. (read more)
