...I like to see what resources the students have on hand for the course (textbooks, handouts, notes) as we work. My philosophy is that we are working together with the teacher to supplement, not replace, what is going on in the classroom. I tend to write a lot of notes during a tutoring session, mostly work from problems, and I always let the student walk away with that in hand. (read more)
