...I was both the math and chemistry leader in high school, where I not only provided personal help but also organized discussion sections before exams to assist my classmates who struggled or wanted to improve. The students and patients I have taught found me very helpful because I can empathize with their issues and work alongside them to solve their problems. I understand how students think. (read more)
...Often, when students struggle with reading, it can be traced back to a lack of phonemic awareness and phonic skills. I have tested and mastered multiple programs that allow students to learn the phonics skills needed to learn how to read. My very favorite part of teaching is watching the "light bulb" moments that students have. (read more)
