I am perfectly qualified to tutor precalculus because I have bedrock knowledge of domain & ranges, logarithms, natural number e, graphing higher order functions, and exponential functions. ...I like to help students rephrase their thinking. Instead of saying "I can't do this. I will never get this." I teach them to say "this is very confusing, I don't understand this yet."
