...I started my education with the intent of becoming an elementary teacher. As my education and experience progressed I realized I wanted to teach high school. I chose Home Economics as my major because I wanted to teach sexual health (still my favorite topic). I taught Life Skills for 4 years in lower MI before moving to the UP in 2001. (read more)

...I'm very well accustomed to working with students and classmates to help them learn the material. I've volunteered to work with children in various sports and in an after school center.
