I first learned trigonometry in high school, and since I have applied it to my calculus, physics, and engineering classes. ...I also love teaching useful classes like algebra and trigonometry, because I still use these concepts daily in my engineering classes. My favorite thing to help students with is SAT/ACT math studying. I had a math tutor that was unhelpful and often incorrect when I was in high school and studying for the SAT, and now I know how to be effective, and also patient with students. (read more)
I've always held the belief that the most boring, difficult subjects can be made interesting if taught in the right way. This belief helped me achieve an IB Diploma, a programming internship and a 1530 on the SAT. It's currently helping me obtain a Bachelors degree in Materials Engineering at Cal Poly, SLO and contribute to published research on High Entropy Alloys! (read more)
