...I base the entire lesson on the subject/assignment the student needs assistance in and have great notes that may assist in their understanding. ...I also encourage you to ask as many questions as possible, no matter how silly, so that you can get your own head around the problem. I then find it useful to ask questions to test your understanding, or perhaps get you to explain the concept to someone else. I also teach solid, repeatable methods for solving problems in physics, which sorts out the first type of issue I described above. (read more)
