...We did this for a whole month so that they could see the sequence from one phase into another, and could grasp why the moon is sometimes out during the day and other times during the night. Over the years, I've had the pleasure of teaching 1st grade for 9 years, 4th grade for 6 years, and even spent 4 years working at a psychiatric hospital, supporting kids aged 6 to 18.
