...Algebra 2 can be challenging for some students, as a solid foundation of Algebra 1 and, to a lesser extent, Geometry is important. I can solidify these foundations while helping students with the newer material. I've tutored high school students in AP Calculus (AB and BC) and in honors calculus, and I've also tutored college students in first and second year calculus. (read more)
...Most of the concepts in Trigonometry have to do with: the ratios of a right triangle with a hypotenuse coinciding with the radius of a unit circle on the Cartesian plane. The rest is just pure human creativity. When I took the New York State Teacher Certification Exam Content Specialty Test in Math, I got a perfect score of 300 on the Trigonometry section. (read more)
