...I believe that solidifying the fundamentals of the topic your are learning is the best way to improve. This also helps with confidence; I have seen math anxiety legitimately hurt the exam scores of otherwise exceptional students. Also, every student learns differently, so having a variety of teaching styles to adapt to the needs of the student is important. (read more)
...Math doesn't have to be hard! Mathematics at its core is about breaking up complex puzzles into smaller pieces and then putting the pieces back together in a more understandable way. Memorizing mathematical formulas don't get students very far. (read more)
