...During a session, I like to determine what the student is most struggling with and spend the first chunk of time there. I try to find any gaps in learning and backfill as necessary as we work on what the student needs to accomplish. Not every student learns the same way, and I understand that and change my teaching style accordingly. (read more)
I'm a former engineer who got into teaching math bath b/c I love interacting with students, I'm good at it and I love understanding things. Math and science make you flex your brain more than any other academic pursuit. Why work out?! So every thing else in life is easier and hey, you might even get a good job as well! (read more)
