I am a U.S. Army Veteran and scored well enough when I took the ASVAB to qualify for every MOS in the Army. Additionally, I am well versed in the subject matter for the ASVAB and have tutored other future soldiers/marines/sailors/airmen to get successful scored on their ASVAB as well and qualify for the military job that they are looking for. ...I've completed and tutored multiple high-level math courses (calculus, linear algebra, statistics, real analysis, and differential equations) that all require thorough knowledge of Algebra 2. I minored in math during undergrad and finished Honors Geometry with an average of 98 when I took the class in high school. I have since moved far beyond Geometry and can confidently tutor it. ...If they were struggling, I would ask how each component of the lab represented concepts from the lecture, in an attempt to reinforce their understanding of the material. When a student/group needs help, I never directly give the answer, but rather provide leading questions on how to complete the lab. This position was year-long. (read more)
