It all started with me being very poor at algebra in high school. I struggled a lot, till I got an excellent tutor who kept using different approaches to get the information across till we found the right one. I ended up loving my arch nemesis (math) so much that I went on to get a 730 out of 800 in my SAT math and I've used the same approaches taught to me to help struggling students. (read more)
...ALL of my IB students passed the math portion of their diplomas. Two things that makes me unique – my Texas and Michigan teaching certifications are current and I have an electrical engineering degree and worked in the industry for 13 years. I believe that this helps me give the students a better idea of where the math is really used. (read more)
