...I calculate everything in my head from miles per gallon, time saved by incremental increases in speed driven and unit prices when shopping. It's fun and useful and I know how to teach the practical side of math, which then helps kids understand their algebraic concepts better. One has to take the fear and/or boredom out of math, and their students will be successful. (read more)
...I graduated high school in 2015 and have worked in the financial and corporate field for the past 6 years. I finished high school with a 4.2 GPA and completed every marking period on the honor roll or distinguished honor roll. I passed by SATs the first attempt, with a score of 1660 (out of 2400, during the 2014 scoring system).I’ve always loved math and writing. (read more)
