...I taught probability, random variables, and set theory at Drake University twice. I have a sufficient understanding of linear algebra, having taken two courses in the subject in college, but it is a topic that doesn't come up every day. With regards to finance, I got an A in an MBA finance course and also have passed actuarial exams relating to interest theory. (read more)
...I graduated from Iowa State University with a math education degree and immediately began teaching high school mathematics. I taught at the high school level for 12 years loved every minute of it! For the last four years I have had the opportunity to teach at the college level and specifically teach future elementary math teachers the "why" mathematics is taught how it is taught. (read more)
