...I really enjoy the relationships that are present in geometric forms. I learned the basics of trigonometry as a child working with my dad and uncles who were custom home builders. The properties of trigonometry are used every day in designing trusses, configuring vaulted ceilings, and the overall design of living space within a home. (read more)
