...In my time as a tutor, the main thing I've learned is to always cater each session to the needs of the individual student. Schools usually do not have the resources to personalize their lessons, which is why some students end up feeling lost and confused in their classes. ...Calculus is the study of rates of change and may seem quite confusing. In high school, most calculus courses offered are AP level and can be a significant jump from previous math courses. I have taken multiple calculus classes and have a good understanding of the subject. (read more)

...I believe it is also important to be able to articulate and vocalize what you are doing when you "show your work". It is easier to correct poor habits and immediately address issues when students can describe what they are doing.
