...I hope that by introducing new words, they would want to know more. Younger students need to learn which words are opposites of one another, and that approach would serve them well long after they become motivated to learn new words on their own. As students grow into their teens, I hope they understand learning vocabulary is part of what it means to think critically. (read more)
