...I really enjoy that moment when "the light bulb goes on" and a student "gets it". Explaining the underlying concepts and relating them to something the student can understand really helps. I believe the goal of mathematics is understanding not merely finding a solution to a particular problem or following some recipe of memorized equations and steps. (read more)
