As a practicing private investor from 1996 through 2006, I examined thousands of accounting exhibits for hundreds of companies and their annual reports describing their economic situations. ...I then went to work at Southwest Research Institute as a software developer for a year while tutoring on the side. I am now a PhD student in Computer Science at the University of Pennsylvania.
