...I was a teaching assistant in an introductory engineering class. I have also done a course in cadet teaching in which I taught math to 5th graders. I believe there is more than one way to explain math concepts so that if a student doesn't grasp the way it is presented in class, I can find an alternate way of explaining it. (read more)

...I have used this method before and I think it works because it allows students to see what the concept is about. I know in the past, some students will not understand the concept the first time and that's okay. I am willing to work with you until you understand it and sometimes I have to adapt to the student so he or she can understand what is going on. (read more)
