...I have passed both the Illinois Test of Academic Proficiency (TAP), which is a basic skills test for K-12 teachers and the ILTS Mathematics Content Area exam, which is also geared toward K-12 instruction. ...I have a philosophy minor (Ethics) that included a Logic class. I am primarily a mathematician by training. From the perspective of philosophy, mathematics is "applied Logic" and so it is not unreasonable to suggest that I have a great deal of Logic background (proof writing in particular).
