Cheng H. ...I think most students are struggling with practical questions. With long sentences which likes small paragraph, you have to solve like "what is average wage, length, distance... Students will be stunned by these long sentences, and easily lose interest on this type of question. For this type of problems, students don't really know how to eliminate some extra and unuseful words.

Lindsay M. ...Most of that time has been teaching 8th, 9th and 10th grade pre-algebra and algebra but I've also taught some trigonometry, pre-calculus and statistics. I believe in the idea that anyone can learn anything with the right amount of tenacity, grit and encouragement. Toward that end, I like to implement an investigative approach to understanding that is paired with repeated practice.
