Gregory G. ...It's easy for the tutor, and easy for the student to simply know "the steps" to solve a problem, but not WHY those steps work. This is what I aim to teach the student; why something is meant to be solved a certain way. The best part of tutoring is having the student reach that "a-ha!" moment when he or she finally grasps the concept and realizes how simple it was all along.

Having studied Latin for two years I am adept at using prefixes and suffixes to decipher the meaning of new words. Vocabulary (comparing words in sentences) is needed for ACT Reading.
