From there, I moved on to building a non-invasive prenatal screening product, which allows pregnant women to check the health of their baby from cell-free DNA. ...There’s a big stigma, especially in math settings, where people are led to believe that they aren’t good at a subject because they are them. (i.e. “I’m not a math person.”) I believe this way of thinking is very flawed. With enough support, work, and drive anybody can reach the highest levels in all areas of expertise. Everyone in this world is capable regardless of their genetic makeup. (read more)
