Nader O. ...For me, the calculus is the mathematical way of dealing with real life. Algebra, geometry, and trigonometry deal with perfect shapes and situations such as square, triangle, sphere, or cylinder. However there is no such limit for calculus.

Eric C. ...Students like that tend to do very well in Algebra and Trigonometry where memorizing everything is virtually impossible. Organic chemistry requires a student to memorize a large amount of information and then apply that information to reactions the student has never seen before. Usually classes can be passed using method 1 or method 2, but o-chem requires both.
