R Bruce N. ...Trigonometry is basically the mathematical measurement of shapes and the angles that form them. Terms like tangents, sines, and cosines - are concepts that must be mastered in order to move forward. As "trig" progresses, then the relationships between these terms, trig identities, and unit circle, become even more fundamental and important to an understanding of graphing and transformations.
