The key to learning geometry is for the student to solve problems by finding the information that is implied in the problem. This involves applying the knowledge that we already know such as what are supplementary angles.

Bryan B. ...As part of the classes I have taught there has always been a large focus on reading and comprehension. We worked on reading techniques to improve students ability to remember and analyze the material, as well as explain it to somebody else in their own words. Even non English classes that I taught routinely had vocabulary words and reading quizzes.
