Every time I work with a student I make sure to have the patience necessary so that the student will not be afraid to ask me to explain the steps more than once. As I was taught in my Education class, if this is not enough I try to have at least 3 different ways to explain the same question.

Some students relate more to history and culture so I'll discuss the evolution of unique math concepts. I also find real-world applications for the Precalculus concepts whenever possible, so students see how relevant math is in their lives.
