Shane K. ...Most major tech companies have teams that collaborate remotely. I've also tutored a significant number of students remotely, and they've found it equal to in-person tutoring. The one caveat is that this method of tutoring doesn't work as well for students with learning differences.

I think this lends itself to appealing to various problem solving and critical thinking styles. I've taught Trigonometry and Pre-Calculus at the high school level for 6 years and have tutored students in the subject for as many.

I have taught students some of this material for SAT (combinations/permutations) and college courses. I took linear algebra both in high school and in an abstract algebra course in college.
