Peter L. I tutor from the perspective that mastery is not knowing all the right answers, but asking the right questions. Especially in science and math, taking the right approach is far more important than the solution for any one problem. I graduated from UCLA with a degree in psychobiology, and have been tutoring chemistry, biology, and math students from high school to college level.

Laurens F. ...I have the 5th edition of the Stewart textbook, an excellent book used by many schools, and the student solutions manual 5th edition. I also enjoy the fact that as complicated as calculus is mathematically, many of its concepts and theorems are intuitively clear, such as continuity & differentiability, IVT, MVT, extrema, and some infinite series tests. These aid in teaching to students.
