My first session thus usually involves some diagnosis of which skills the student needs help with before going on to Algebra 2. A firm base on which to build is required.

David H. ...I assign homework after lessons to follow up on key ideas or skills necessary for understanding the material (or tackling how to take the test) and I encourage feedback on things that are or aren't working. I am based in San Ramon and I have a study space available for tutoring students. However, it is no problem for me to travel to another location if that is better for the student.
