Peter M. ...Students are often thrown by the idea of proofs, which is approximately half of the curriculum in Geometry. Unfortunately, many math teachers are not all that happy about teaching proofs and so the student does not really learn the techniques that make solving proofs, and by extension, solving complex mathematics problems, easier. I believe that Geometry is an excellent teacher.
