Ron C. ...Many students believe they can score higher on the ACT than on the SAT. The ACT math questions are more straight-forward than those on the SAT, and the ACT reading passages are at a slightly lower level, but many students struggle with the ACT's science section. Also, the ACT covers trig and elements of pre-calculus while the SAT goes only through Algebra 2.
