Why do I truly believe that a teacher can make big difference in student's future? Through my own experience, I was fortunate to have a few best middlehigh school math and science teachers, so I know the difference, besides it seems obvious. A good teacher helps to build a strong intellectual ability through the subject matter then it goes beyond, and no subject is more important than math.

...As a matter of fact, the advanced knowledge of his/her proper subject as well as general knowledge (after all in order to obtain a Ph. D. one has to go through the Master, Bachelor,...) can only improve the quality of instruction given. As for methods, if any of the fads that have been and are still plaguing our schools (elementary and not) had been successful, nobody would need tutors.
