...As for my background, I earned a BS in math from the University of Wisconsin - Madison in 2011. As a student I tutored calculus in the UW's Mathlab for a couple of years and then went on to grade papers for math major courses for the math department. ...Instead of doing the homework with my tutoree, I use examples that I come up with, which enables the student to grasp the concept and do the homework themselves (Hooray!). Now for the experience.
