A substitute teacher at K-6 grade levels is required to walk into the classroom and teach on any subject areas instructed by the classroom teachers. In the K-3 grade levels, the subjects are language arts and math; from 4-6, I also teach science, social studies, and arts, and I am doing this for a living.
