...Sometimes the way a particular teacher may be approaching a topic would be convoluted or confusing and I have found that, there are usually simpler ways to learning math that the strict textbook approach. In my experience students respond more when they are engaged. Each individual has a unique way of learning and I believe it is up to the teacher/tutor to find that way and nurture it.
