The equation: ** 4y=3 **

The frist thing is to make sure that only**'y'** or the **'unknown(s)'** remain in one side and **the number types(... -2,-1, 0, 1, 2, ...) **the other side.

The second thing is to make sure that what is done to one side of the equation is equally done to the other.

**4y = 3**

In order to make 'y' remains on one side, we find a way to eliminate '4' from 'y'

Then, dividing**4y** by **4** will eliminate **4**, given **4/4 = 1** . So **1y = y**

Remember, what we did to left side of equation**unknown or 'y' **must be done to the right side of the equation that has **3**. That is, dividing the right side of the equation by **4** as well. Given **3/4**
