How do you solve the quadratic equation:

-0.2x^2 + 12x + 11 = 0

To learn how to solve quadratics in general, try here.

A good first step for this particular quadratic might be to multiply through by -5, to remove the decimal and swap the signs to the standard formatting. :wink:

Thank you. multiplying by -5 helped a lot and got me on the right track.
