Logarithm problem, help please

How do you simplify logarithm problems with different bases?
Problem is: 2log4(9) - log2(3)

Thank you in advance.

Re: Logarithm problem, help please

Use the Change-of-Base formula. Put the logarithm into the base that you want. The derivation is found in Intermediate Algebra textbooks.

Given a logarithm function in base a, if you want the logarithm function in base b, here is how:

$log_a(n)=\frac{log_b(n)}{log_b(a)}$
