Hi, I am new to this forum. I'm 27 and I have not studied math since I finished high school. I want to prepare myself to join college again. For me, the starting math class at college will be calculus. It would be very difficult to pass without a good understanding of what I should be good at before I start this class

. I'd like to know a kind of a road map and good book/s for self-study that does not concentrate only on formulas and proofs but good understanding of the concepts. Also, It will be great to share ideas and problem solving skills with members who are preparing for college as well.
