I need help with this. I have the answer, which is 8Y-3X, but how is it solved? I am studying to take a placement test and i haven't taken a math course in at least 6 years. thanks for anyone who can help!

3(x+2y)=3(x)+3(2y)=3x+6y
-2(3x-y)=-2(3x)-2(-y)=-6x+2y
then add 3x&-6x, 6y&2y to get:-3x+8y
