## How would I go about solving these functions?

I used to be able to do this a year ago, but I completely forgot everything about it, and I can't find anywhere in the index where it specifically teaches you how to tackle this problem.

For those of you who cannot open a pdf, it is:

If f(x) = 2x + 1 and g(x) = x-1/2, then f(g(x)) =...

I would also appreciate help on solving any other problem on the sample worksheet. Thanks in advance

If f(x) = 2x + 1 and g(x) = x-1/2, then f(g(x)) =...
This is asking you to "compose" the two functions. To learn what that is and how to do that, try here.

If you get stuck in the process of simplifying f(x - 1/2), please reply showing how far you have gotten. Thank you!
