next step for solving (2sin^(2)x-1) = 0

I have a simple trig equation that is:

(2sin^(2)x-1)=0

and this is what i did
2sin^(2)x-1 = 0
2sin^(2)x = 1
sin^(2)x = 0.5

how would you continue? would you square both sides or is there a different way to do it because of the trig?

Since the sine is already squared, I don't think you'd want to square again. Maybe you could take the square root? (Remember to do the "+/-" in front of the root!)
