Easy ways to remember sin and cos functions of unit circle?

Postby paul110630 » Fri Feb 03, 2012 3:53 am

I'm new here :) hopefully I'm asking everything ok!

I have a quiz tomorrow in trigonometry, and basically you have to fill out all the sin and cosine functions of the unit circle in 5 minutes...Are there any easy ways or tricks to memorize them fast?

The quiz we took (Every kid failed in the class so we get to retake it): http://i1165.photobucket.com/albums/q590/paul110630/quiz2.jpg

As you can see i figured out most of all the values but then i ran out of time...the one things that i can't figure out is if its negative or not (well i can figure it out, but it takes to long)...any trick to that? THANKS!

There are a few methods for memorizing the special angle values. Three are covered in this lesson.
